Mortgage

Hi Would any one have some advice I have a mortgage for £30.000 and it is ddue to revert to the SVR in July. I have only got 4 years to go is it worth trying to re-mortgage to a new deal.

    Hi Gary, yes it is worth remortgaging, but because of the low mortgage you have & the cost of fees in switching to a new lender, your first port of call should be to your present lender to see what else they can offer you. This will probably work out the cheapest overall option.

    Some high street lenders out there won't lend on amounts under £30,000, so if you do decide to switch to a new lender, this is something to consider.
    The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

    I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
