Buffalo 500GB DriveStation - £45.41

Spotted this drive on sale elsewhere but they're sold out everywhere so be quick! Cdiscount is offering 25% off the drive, half price delivery AND a free bottle of wine. Throw in a 3.5% Quidco discount, and this comes to the incredible price of just £45.41
Express delivery is only £1.00 extra. I think the site must be new, as the delivery is usually £3.99, but there is a 'launch' discount.
Use the code: Free-Wine to get the booze.
Anyway, about the drive:
* The Power Saving Utility offers reduced power consumption
* TurboUSB increases your file transfer speeds -up tp 20% Quicker !Turns on and off automatically with your computer

Love the way you copied the whole ad from hotuk inc 'spotted this drive...'

CDiscount is indeed new - been posted about along with their 'cashback' deal (really a credit). The price is good (especially considering you get the full Memeo) but you can get a 1TB for around £65, and the 'cashback' as I said is a credit, so you're stumping up more on the basis you'll buy with them again. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

I'm clearly missing something. Where's the cashback on this product?
Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Ah my apologies - that was the launch offer thing that expired recently. It's exactly as copied/pasted from HUKD
(Ivrytwr3 - generally good manners to credit where you found it if it wasn't you that discovered the deal - that is probably what Mr Kennedy was hinting at)The thanks button is here to the right. Ah, yes. I posted this one at HUKD - no probs using it here, too - got to share the deals around a bit, after all!
My cashback isn't a 'credit', it's through Quidco so you do see that (eventually)!
Good bargain, though some people are saying the wine deal has now expired.
The 1TB drive for £68 ish was through PC World / Comet. Good luck finding any in stock (1TB is way too big for my needs anyway).0 -
I thought 250Gb was big enough last Jan, then around July reckoned I'd never fill its 500Gb replacement... guess what I'm thinking now! Baby Harper plus DSLR means loadsa storage needed!

So my logic is now to always buy what gives the most bang per buck (that saying should be revised to a more modern "gig per quid"!)
Thanks to the last poster for elaborating on the 1Tb deal - I didn't have the opportunity when I posted to look that upThe thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!
