learndirect courses/any free courses

My advisor at the jobcentre recomended the learndirect courses to refresh my computer skills. Went to our local college and they are only free if you are on a means tested benefit. My incapcity benefit means that I do not qualify. Does anybody know of any free courses that I could do, I'm in Leicestershire

Try the Open University.
You wouldn't get 100% automatically through the benefits route (unless you get IS/JSA/HB or CTB), but the income route, based on last years income, could get you up to full course remission, its very generous
