Weight Watchers Online question

Hello,
I need to do something about my weight, and am thinking of joining WW online. Is there anyone out there who's tried this?
What do you receive when you register, and whats the procedure for weighing yourself etc? I tried looking on the WW site, but couldnt find much info.
I was considering going for the Tesco e-diets thing(to get points too), but think WW might be better.
I'm not sure about physically going to meetings yet, as i feel self conscious. I know everyone's in the same boat, but think i'd rather try online first to see how i get on & maybe try meetings later on.
Does the online version work out more costwise?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thankyou.

Hi there,
I have actually tried both..ww online and going to the meetings....personally the meetings are far better as everybody is in the same boat!!!! i found that i couldnt stick to the ww online as i had no-one monitoring me so gave up in the end and went back to meetings...ww online i find is cheaper but if your anything like me then you wont use it which is a waste of money.
i have lost over a stone and half going to meetings and only 5 pounds online!!!! So personally i would reccommend meetings.0
