ohh the glenfiddich is a great place. i grew up in dufftown and spent 28 years of my life there. if you havetime in dufftown pop in past one of the fab pubs. i recommend the royal oak on fife street or the masons arms in conval street. if it's fine dining you want the taste of speyside is fab. if you have time also walk down to mortlach church. it's fantastic town! with lovely friendly people too.Vegetarian's Do Not!!!! eat fish

If you are going to Glenfiddich can I suggest you walk or drive a wee bit further along the road & visit Balvenie Castle which is a stones throw away? Its a beautiful old ruin & although it probbaly isn't open at this time of year, you can still have a nosy around the outside.

I was also born & brought up in Dufftown & can second kianicky's recommendation of The Royal Oak & The Mason Arms. Had many a good night in both :beer:0
