Final Bonus on Endowments

Hi, Does anyone know of what final bonuses are being paid at the moment by Standard life. Thanks David

Thanks for the speedy reply, but what i would like to know is say for instance some one whose policy matured recently what sort of return did they get surely all these people are not that coy .Thanks David

If yours is not due to mature now, it doesnt matter what final bonus rates other people are currently getting. Your last bonus statement should show the current final bonus rates for your policy. You could ring the company to find this out too.

Thanks for that jm, but what about if i used the phrase TERMINAL bonus in my question would the answer be the same? Thanks David.

A final bonus and terminal bonus are the same thing. There will be different rates depending on year of entry.

It will also depend on what version of plan you have. If its unitised with profits or conventional with profits. It may also depend on the retail distribution you bought from as well.

I invested £45 per month with Standard life from Feb 1985 to Jul 2008 and surrendered my policy for £26,500. If I had kept it to maturity (Jan 2010) I don't think I'd have got any more but I would have paid £540 per year.

No-one knows of course but with-profits could be with-losses.
