Hi - this only has 3 PCI slots inside so you'd have to get a PCI video card (it does NOT have a PCI express slot).kokyu wrote:Is there any scope for upgrading the D01111? I'd like to stick an average graphics card (mabye a 9700) and another hard drive in, possible?
Most video cards are AGP so you'll be limited in what you can do... the 1100 is very limited in upgrade potential (power supply also low spec), but you get what you pay for!
I bought this machine for my cousin but I had a little look inside when it arrived. I don't think you can just pop a hard-drive in because it's mounted vertically on a special bracket. I forget if there was a 2nd IDE port as well or not (certainly no SATA), or if they'd daisy-chained the optical drive to the HDD or not.
