That's brilliant news Jen well done.

I got a random £5 amazon voucher this morning from lightspeed. I think it was from a test i did for them a couple of months ago and never got paid for.

wow Jen - that's brilliant about the tax credit thing! :D

I'm feeling a bit annoyed. I tried taking two tops back to Debenhams today, but the horrible snotty-nosed assistant said she wouldn't take them back because it had been over 28 days?! I ordered them from the website on the 27th feb so today was the 28th day. Bye bye £20...

Also was thinking about recontacting a friend who I haven't spoken to for about three years, but dunno if I should or not (it was my fault that we didn't speak). Hmmmm. It's been a weird old day.

Jen if I was you, I would treat myself to something. Maybe spend half, save half? After all you weren't expecting to get it :)

I dunno what to do about the friend, either. She was my best friend... we were friends for about 5-years. Just wish I knew what was going on in her life! She tried getting in contact about a year ago but I ignored her messages :S Terrible I know... really regret it now though.

Cl, if it was the 28th day you were within the 28 days so you should have been able to get your money back. If I were you I'd take them back, complain about the way you were treated and ask to speak to the manager. As for the friend, the worst that can happen is she won't respond to you, so it can't really beany worse than it is now. I'd say you have more to gain than lose.

I need to leave soon, I have college later (am praying I don't have a coughing fit and annoy everyone) but I'm dropping my sister and her friend to the pub first.

That's what I said to her but she was really snotty-nosed about it and made me feel stupid. What annoys me even more is that I didn't even receive the tops until the 11th march. I'm going to complain. And if that doesnt't work, I'll take them back WITHOUT the printout and just ge the money put onto a giftcard (I bought them with a giftcard anyway).

Good luck with college, Nikki, hope it isn't too stressful :)

As for the friend, I think I will send her an email. And if she ignores it then at least I tried?! Still it terrifies me...
