i am up to 50,405 miles now but only 46,700 miles are redeemable so i need to work a bit harder to get the cheque sent out! I really want to get it sent today or tomorrow as they seem to take so long to arrive

yeah like that Jen but that's from a dealer again hence the high price they are generally about 5500-6000.
Need to decide what to do about replacement car first, whether to have micra back from OH and buy him a £300/400 replacement or leave him with that and buy myself perhaps another micra or similar but with better spec eg air con.

will do jen. i think I will buy OH a cheap car and then have the micra back, then even if i do end up selling to the dealer I will then be just £700 in debt which i can pay off in 3 months and then start saving in case I want a new car in a couple of years
  • Evening all,

How's everybody doing? See you are all doing really well at Dooyoo, wish i could still do it - boohoo! I may get my OH to sign up, one way to get around it i guess.

MM - i couldn't help but notice you are selling your beloved mini? why's that hun? didn't think i'd see the day where you sold it. If you are selling it i hope you get a really good deal for it. Car dealerships are not paying much for cars at the mo. My OH bought a brand new BMW last week, don't ask how much, silly money, nearly £21K but he paid in cash as had the money, but we tried selling his old car to the garage and they would only give us £4K when it was worth a lot more.

Well done Jen on the ISA total - your great with money, going to take note down any tips you give - hehe!

Dawn - how are you? i hope you're okay sweet.

Hopefully be around at the weekend, moneys real tight so want to stay in as much as possible.

    xxxxxxxx

Hi Hayley-blimey youre always on here so late!! Yep the Minis going-i'm just not happy with it,not as good as I thought it was going to be and not worth the money. I'm actually not upset at all at the thought of it going (apart from the heated seats-and summers coming anyway lol) I was gutted when I had to sell my old mini!!
Anyway I have worked out-if I can find OH a car with the £300 i have in my bank for the website (which hasnt been started yet so I can start paying for that next payday) then he will have that, i will have my old micra back then i have a car so It buys me a bit of time to try and sell the MINI privately. Even if it doesnt sell and I have to sell it back to the dealer I will be left only £414 in debt-oh i'll have the tax back if i sell it to the dealer so £314.
So at least i'd have tried my mini adventure and still be nearly debt free (again)
Blimey that was a lot of waffle for this time in the morning!
Anyway hope your ok Hayley!! jen you are doing brilliantly at the saving-its amazing!
cahed out £10 on a scratchcard ..oh..and actually cashed out on onepoll yesterday as well!!!!!!!!
Off to work.thank &%^* its Friday!!!
