Aww Maria i feel a bit like that and just think I should stop taking my pill sometimes but things will be a lot easier for both of us more prepared. I am just about over the shock that my best male friend is having a baby....i think!
14 and pregnant, god I would hate that! Seeing that 13 year old dad scared me to death, mind you he only looked 7!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Evening everyone. I've just put dd2 in the bath without her seat and she was fab, I thought she was going to be really scared but after the initial fear she was jumping around and splashing around pretending she was swimming etc, it was great.
Nicki that place looks good.
Maria I don't think being sensible is a bad thing when it comes to having a baby. Saying that you would cope either way I'm sure.0 -
That's the problem with Brighton, but it's where we both went to uni and where all of our friends live so we're reluctant to move away, plus my boyfriend works in Victoria so really we need to be south of the river for commuting. Even where I live costs about the same as Brighton because it's slap bang inbetween London & Brighton so it's good for travel even though the area is a bit rubbish.
Although when I get a real job we'd probably be able to afford the rent on a place like that flat, the flats themselves are around the £200,000 mark so we'd need a big deposit and would have a massive mortgage. If we could get a two bed place to rent with another person/couple it would be a lot better money wise than living by ourselves which would be virtually impossible unless we wanted no social life. Its so hard keeping sane isnt it lilmiss! lol. Well as you guys that read my diary might know im not on the pill anymore but using other methods. But secretly every month i hope that i might not get my period.
Thanks YB, im sure we would cope too espically with the saving we have. but i know OH has his heart set on his own place first. I duno we will see where we are in a few months time.
Awww, glad your dd had fun in the bath without the seat YB
OMG yes that boy that had the baby looked so young didnt he!
Niki, ive never been to brighton but really want to go there! Whats it like there?Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I hope it works out for you both on the baby front soon. I'm not really a baby person myself, but my mum was (I'm the eldest of four which I think has put me off kids a bit) and I can imagine how bad it must be not being able to have what you want.
Brighton is on the whole quite a nice place, some people call it London by the sea. There are more hippies there though lol, and most people to be recycling mad. There are lots veggie/organic/indie places and the like, especially in the Laines which is the shopping part of town with a lot of independent shops. It's a nice place to be when it's sunny, oh, and Brighton has two universities so it's quite a studenty town. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Sounds cool to me! I like hippy places because nobody bats an eyelid if you walk down the street with red hair, if you do that round here you get looks and comments.
My OH doesnt want to go there for the day even for some reason, i have tried tempting him by saying we can look in the sex shops for a laugh but he still doesnt want to go there!Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
