Can I offset my accountant's fee on my tax return ?

What work did he do for the fee?
What type of income are you wanting to set it against?0 -
he did my tax return, my self employed earnings, I want to set it against0

If self-employed then yes you can claim as an expense - would have thought he would have claimed this for you though ?0

Your accountant should have included his fee in your accounts which would be shown on your self assessment. However, there is no tax relief for the proportion of his fee which relates to the completion of your self assessment, as this is a personal expense, nothing to do with your business.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0
