Can anyone confirm if the dark wood table has 12 drawers or part cupboard as per the honey one.."Features six drawers, two concertina doors and a pull out swivel-base shelf. "

I had a look at the Garrat Chestnut 12 drawer coffee table instore today and it had 12 small separate drawers that go to the depth of the hinge and the other side lifts up to provide a large storage area. Hope this helps.

Bought mine today. What a bargain! It comes to £171.26 including delivery. I'm not sure if they reduce the vat or something. All I know is you have to be patient.... must have taken 20 mins to put through the ordering system. Delivery is approx 5 weeks... made to order so I'm told.
Oh, and you can have it in honey colour if you want a lighter one.

    Hi
I went to my local shop today and wanted to order the mirror, however, it was out of stock first thing this morning and I could not receive it until March! Seems quite odd for something in a sale.

It was the Bromley Store.I went in as soon a the store opened on the 1st Jan, there was a lot of confusion and nobody seemed to know about the offers.
It also took ages to place the order at the till.
  • hi everyone.

This is the way that Laura Ashley constantly works.....

'stickers on stickers off' its a nightmare!!!! I work for them and I'm sick of the sales.

PS- I really advise the Garratt - both colours are lovely! As for the mirror (give it a miss).

This would be because our store only found out about this on New Years Eve when the graphics got sent. :) Nice bit of notice that was! :D

I've not had a chance to go yet, I wanted one of those mirrors for ages. Might get one today if I can find out in stock somewhere.

Glad many others have benefitted from the above offers :D

I have had all the Garret range of furniture for 4 years and it still looks brand new. Its very well made .
  • Hi - just come back from purchasing the honey coloured Garrat 12 drawer coffee table - a friend has the darker one and I've always admired it. I only went into town to go the the charity shops! Got it for approx £172 incl £25 odd delivery charge - so would be interested to find out whether I could get reimbursed the delivery charge (but maybe I'm being greedy!). I was told it would take 12 weeks.

The sales lady said best to pay with credit card as you never know when a company you think is ok will go bust! V. wise.

    Sparkly

Edit: Just looked at the website - I guess seeing that the £150 new year spectacular price is instore only and you'd pay £275 online for this but with free delivery then I think I won't query the delivery charge

I quite fancy the coffee table but would like to see it in the flesh first. I assume the LA shops must be open Sunday (as it's the fourth ie last day of sale) ???
