Star In View

Options
Happy New Year folks. This post has nothing to do with money saving, but I am sure some one out there will know which star is so very visible tinight and is right beside the moon, in Moira it is anyway. It looks spectacular from here, with the moon being so thin. Thanks

New Year’s Eve, take another look toward the west after sunset to see the Moon near Venus and Mercury slightly above Jupiter.

Or so I heard this morning on the radio

It's probably Venus and Jupiter will be nearby.

Venus sets in the southwest after the Sun these nights
It's very bright . sometimes called the evening star-.morning star when it rises before the Sun, and the star of bethlahem
Jupiter and small Mercury set very soon after the Sun now and are getting more difficult to spot
