Does anyone know where I can buy a 'live' turkey to raise myself?

I have pullets already and have own eggs but want to have a turkey for another area of the garden.

I live in the Ballymena area.

I would try a local breeder or contact the local butcher who maybe able to advise. Just a warning...so many people get a turkey and when the time comes they cant do the deed and end up buying one for the christmas table. Turkeys have a way of pulling on the heart strings as they are so friendly..just like babies.
Remember to keep the hens seperate as they can catch blackhead from turkeys HTH

seems that hens and turkeys cannot be kept together as there is a desease that they can get.....

In reply to BIGAL94.....hens/turkeys etc are not pets and I have had one of these for a roast lunch before...no problem....
