argos reservation question

I was wondering if anyone knows when items that have been reserved are released so that you can reserve again?

I reserved some wii games - the last cars one in stock locally - but couldn't collect today because my little boy is ill - so I want to reserve again before anyone beats me to it.

i was on the website looking yesterday evening about 8pm none of the local store had the items i wanted, i looked again after midnight, and they had stock again so i would say the systems up date and midnight. hope this helps

My store often releases reservations around 6.00-6.30 ish - seems to be within the hour after the store has closed, so worth checking around that time.

I believe if you call the store, there can be the option to extend a reservation period though - seen mention of it but never tried it before.

thank you earth mother!!!! just double checked and it had been released - so i've reserved again - for pick up from 31st dec to 1st jan lol! guess I'll have to do the same tomorrow evening to make sure i get them

You are quite right earthmother - rather than waiting for it to be released, just ring your store with the reservation number and they can extend the reservation time for you!

Yup it's once the store system has shut down, so usually within half an hour after the store has closed :)x
