Roller blades at Argos?

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could save money on roller blades for a 5 year old please? The obvious choice was Argos but these are £20 and the little chap only got £10 for Christmas! I hope we can get the price down a bit, either by getting some kind of dicsount at Argos or looking elsewhere so he is not disappointed. His birthday is not until June so seems a bit cruel to make him wait until then. (Before anyone says it is a valuable life lesson that you can't have everything I have been trying to instill money saving into my 8 year old who looked in Woolworths to find the Playstation game he wanted to buy with his Christmas money, then we bought that and another through ebay for less than Woolworth's price!) I will endeavour to thank all posts and thanks in advance for any advice/tips that might help!

Hello Hum_lovely - argos do not publish any codes or offer any discounts, but did you know that the NEW argos catalogue is out on Saturday 21st and maybe there might be a more reasonable priced pair in there.
I bought some lovely roller blades for daughter no.2 off ebay, they were immaculate and very cheap, although of course there was postage to be paid. There are sales too but cannot recall see any roller blades on my travels.I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Try sports soccer (or whatever they are now called) I got some unisex ones for my daughter for less than ten pound and she really likes them. I think they were £8.99 and I bought them 10 days ago.0

I got my two girls a pair of roller blades each for Christmas from Sports Soccer as well. For £8.99 they are good value, very solid, silver and black. Argos are currently selling sets of safety pads (knees, elbows and wrists) for £1.75 too - essential I'd say!!!0
