Improving the [classic] Vodka Red Bull

  • I know it's not VRB, but Red Bull goes very well with Jagermeister too.... a shot of Jager dropped into a Red Bull is a jagerbomb. Ace.

Could be all old style and point out that Asda and Lidl do their own version of Red Bull, half the price. Still does what it says on the tin.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Luckily I'm allergic to redbull (very money saving)!
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

A shot of Vodka, a shot of kahlua and milk or cream = a white russian :)

Well thanks for the replies all. I've just about gotten over new years eve now!

Ended up drinking (amongst many other things) Absolut Shambles, with real champagne (it made the red bull look cheap if nothing else!). Everyone else spent the night calling them Baby Shamble!

Am looking forward to trying many of the other ideas too, (especially the port + vrb and the Jagerbomb - though I'll try this in the pub first before buying a bottle in case I don't like it), and also adding orange, satsuma, tangerine or similar slices to it.

Thanks for the input and ideas everyone, and HAPPY NEW YEAR

    :)

I'm going to a party tonight, and will be drinking Vodka Red Bull for the duration.

I normally add a lime to "spruce it up" a bit.

Can anyone recommend anything else to add to a Vodka Red Bull for a bit of a change??

(Bit random I realise, but a quick google has not come up with anything, and there's normally some great "weird and wonderful" suggestions on here :))

EDIT: Not strictly old style, but this was the closest forum I could think of ;)

A shot of creme de cassis (a blackberry liquer) would probably go really well. It would certainly add to the fruity sweet flavour and the colour would be pretty impressive too.

I know your party is over but other people may want to give this a whirl :)
