    My local asda still had some middle of the road champers reduced from £20 to £10 this morning
    2009 total raised £2373.60:j

    In last weekends Times there was an article suggesting one best buy is Waitrose La Rosca Cava 2 for £9. Apparently it is quite good and better than the cheap champagne which tastes like "gut rot" :rotfl: (I'm quoting The Times).

    jacobs creek sparkling is much nicer than any champagne ive ever tasted you are better to buy an expensive sparkling wine than a cheap champers!!

    jacobs creek is between £6 and £9 depending if on offer.

    i did get today in tesco a gift set with 2 20cl bottles of lanson for £4.99 it had one rose and one normal it was reduced from £9.99. A bottle of lanson (70cl) is about £15-£20
