A question to those of you currently filling out your forms......
What is the trickiest part so far - any pooh traps to be careful of?

it does ask you to list some information twice - like credit card and debit card details in different sections of the forms which is odd.
i have only just done them and printed them off and I can't remember either!
oh and you have to tick all the boxes which say nothing to declare for each section if it does not apply to you.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Ooh - just like Customs and Excise! lol
What did you find the most help - the guidance notes from the ISA or the CAB Derbyshire example, or neither?
Have you got any pension arrangements? That is confusing me a bit, as to the value and suchlike - there are all different amounts on my pension statements.

Hi, I just sort of muddled through, I didn't really refer to any guidance notes in particular.
I have a pension but it is a non-contributory one so I don't have to pay anything into it but I can make additional contributions if I wanted to. I haven't but I probably should! So I am probably not too much help on that one am afraid.

Hmm,
I haven't paid anything into mine for nearly 18 years ... and I draw the princely sum of £200 on my birthday each year.
When I get to that bit, I will post a question for the clever people on here!

Sorry can't be of more help about that bit.
£200 sounds a good sum for a birthday meal each year!
hopefully if you post a question up, there will be an expert who can help.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
the worst bit is when you have put in the details of your companys tax office. How many people know that?:beer:0

I had to actually phone up to get it, there should be a phone number for your tax office on your payslip.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0
