if you dont have a pair of nc headphones - then they are great. If you have tried Bose then the Sony is a poor performer in comparison on aeroplanes for eliminating the noise.

But at the price I woudl get them if I didnt have any and was flying a lot.

Think I paid the same on eBay a year back. They arn't really up to the job in my opinion but still make a good pair of headphones
