    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Don't worry sally, bikers are much more aware than car drivers, they don't have the cosy heating and radio to listen to, hehe. Take it from me motorbikes are not dangerous, says the girl who fell asleep on the back of one going down a motorway :rotfl:

We've just been for a rather bracing walk round St Ives estate in Bingley!
It was freezing cold, lots of ice and frost on the trees, the lake was frozen and so were our noses!
Hubby making Big New Years roast dinner now!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I need to organise some food. Seems too much like hard work though.

The kids love to see this sculpture of the fish leaping out of the lake, today this end was completely iced over, you could see huge air bubbles trapped beneath the ice. Even the ducks had scarves on!
