I'm here with an open bottle of bubbly
So not MSE (I tend to only drink champagne) but it is rock n roll innit?
It's been a funny old year for me. It started off with me having to have surgery on my wrist to save my career... weeks off work but slowly recovered. Then the bizarre event with thomas cook sending me tickets for a cancelled holiday which we ended up going on. While on holiday we went out to see Gretchen Wilson play (absolutely cooking band) I was drinking this god awful cocktail in a flashing pint glass all night. it did the job and 9 months later little Lily was born
So, I've gone from desperately trying to stop tendonitis ruining my career to choosing to be a stay at home mum.
I miss work though, I miss the challenge, the being good at something and I miss the people I work with. The money wasn't too shabby either.
This year (as with most years) i've lost some people I really cared about. One to a drugs overdose another to cancer. I've also seen a huge increase in the amount of new babies in my social circle
i've gone from a size 8 to a size 14, my son turned 18 and suddenly i got old. I've had truly awful low moments but some wonderful highs too.
And you lot have been there every step of the way and for that i really thank you. i wonder what the hell 2009 has in store but I hope it's a lot more smiles than tears and turns out to be a great one for all of us.:A

Hello all!
I am home tonight were I will be safe from all the kissing and letching from drunk men at 12.
I have got baileys, vodka strongbow and lager. YUM, must not drink it all tonight though.
I hope you all are doing well.
For IA Darling I have been there myself and the pain you will feel tonight is unbarable but your friends on mse are here to help. if you want to drink then be it, if it makes you emotional then be it, you know it is good to cry and be angry.
