A few questions re OCM

Hi everyone
So I've just searched the board and can't find answers to my questions about OCM - I hope I'm ok to start this thread.
So I've got acne (developed in my teens, I'm now 20). It was really bad for a few years then suddenly got better but now I've broken out again (hopefully, its temporary!). I've got the kind of skin which feels tight after washing and then oily by night.
I've heard great things about OCM and was wondering if those who have tried it could perhaps help me out on a few little things.
I use OCM every other day (have only just started a week ago, hence the quetions!)
1) Is this enough/too much?
2) When you steam using a cloth, is there anything visible on the cloth i.e the gunk coming out?
3) Is it absolutely necessary to use a muslin cloth?
4) What do you do to your face the morning after?
5) While my skin feels amazing, my spots seem very red immediately after OCM but normal (colour-wise) by the next day - is this normal?
6) Finally, how long before you saw results?
I know its a lot of questions but it would really be very helpful to me.
Thanks to those that take time out to read this and reply

Ok heres my experience as a 44 yo with roseacea, congested pores and uneven tone - very few actual spots
I used the OCM just every few days at first till I got the balance for me right, was too drying and leaving me with flaxy patched. Im now on a mix of around 50/50 and still use perhaps twice a week
I use the extra large muslins from boots - the ones intended for babies bums (tesco sell them as well) I like the hugeness and that all folded up they hold a lot of heat to help with the steaming process
The only residue left on my clothes is the oil mix and make up. All the "gunk" I want removing I take a fresh rinsed cloth and use a gentle pressure to squeeze out - and it really is a gentle pressure. The sebum now comes out milky white rather then the manky smelly yellow it once was.
Mornings I dont bother too much at all - just wipe over in the shower with water or if my face is playing up some liz earle cleanse and polish
I cant comment on the spots as I have very few break outs but yes my roseacea is pretty red that night ( guess its the heat) and looking good in the morning.
As for results - within the first week tbh - a definite cleaner look and within a month when I got the balance correct my oil slick T zone was a thing of the past. As a whole my skin tone and texture has vastly improved and stayed improved even though I use the OCM less0 -
Hi Jewels,
Don't want to scare you, but I just wanted to let you know about my OCM experience. Having read all the rave reviews on this board, I gave it a go. I did everything right and had gorgeous, glowing skin for a week or so.
Then came the dreaded "purge" stage, which just went on and on and on and on. I perservered, and managed to give myself horrendous cystic acne. It was absolutely horrific. After many visits to a dermatologist and 6 months, my skin is just about back to normal. Needless to say, my dermatologist has sternly told me not to do the OCM again!
A bit late, I read quite a few accounts from people who have created skin problems and acne by using the OCM. I'm just sorry it didn't work for me, and I'm very jealous of all of you who have new gorgeous skin!!
