Loans and Moving around
I have at long last started working full time after years of study. In an effort to get debt free and pay off my CC I opted to apply for a personal loan with repayments at the maximum I could afford on my current salary. I had to move to start my job and my position is mobile therefore I will be moving (house) every year for the next 5 years (at least!).
My application was refused and when I enquired I was told that my "Mobile" status would be a black mark against any application. I made a point making sure my name is on the local electoral register of my current abode but I can't change the fact that the longest I will be in any one location is 12 months. This is particularly annoying as I now have a well paid job with great prospects and my salary will increase quite rapidly over the next 5 years therefore paying off my debts has now become a possibility rather than a pipe dream!
I was also told not to apply for anything or few months as I will automatically be refused because of this rejected application.
Has anyone else experienced this?
All advice gratefully received!
