Hi everyone. I have found a slow cooker in my cupboard today...yep found, thats how cluttered they are. Are just needed to share my experience with everyone, i have just put together some veggie quorn cook mince/tomatoe/garlic/onion/chilli/kidney beans so i can make some sort of chilli.
I have never used one before is it ok to leave on low over night? Can they realy help saving money? Any other tips for veggies, i have read the thread but was thinking just quorn

Re veggie slow cooking, I use mine for making soup, broth, veggie sausage casserole, hotpots, stews (with beans and veg) etc. It's fantastic!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

If they are dried kidney beans, then they need to be soaked overnight, then boiled to destroy toxins before using in a slow cooker. If they are tinned, no problem:D.0

I use Quorn mince and Quorn sausages in mine with great success. Yes you can leave it on overnight, Only problem is you wake up with your tummy rumbling from the delicious smell :rotfl:
