Hi I'm back again.
I'm not even sure if it should be in this board or the sub-board...
I have 2 weddings to go to in 2009 one in August and one in December.
I'd like to make something special and personal for both brides.
August Bride is my age (33) and the December Bride is 10 years older than me and it will be her second marriage. The August one is a bit of a home body and the December one is an ex airhostess and a bit of an animal, but the hubby to be doesn't know that side of her at all!!
What would you like if you were getting married that you'd keep and not throw away as a mento of the day or your single life or anything? I've never been married (nor do I want to be) and wouldn't and don't have a scooby about what I'd want if I were.
If you'd be so kind as to throw some suggestions my way I'd take them up with open arms as its something to keep my mind occupied as my 3 yr old has chicken pox that just don't appear to want to stop producing spots!
Thanks

I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
Is it wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care

One of my bridesmaids tasked her OH with taking hundreds of photos throughout the day - then she put these in a pretty album which she'd made and decorated. She also chose one of the better ones and framed it and got the frame engraved. That was a thoughtful present. My other bridesmaid bought me the hardback lonely planet travel and cities books which are fab too. When i was bridesmaid, i bought the bride and groom a day out - took them quad-biking, horse-riding, kayaking, to the fair and to the outdoor theatre. That was a super day. Hope your 3 yr old's recovered soon.Just £10,852.28p to go...

Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";

Would you be up for cross stitching something? I stitched and framed this for my friend last year.
