Acer Aspire netbook

Hi

I'm looking to purchase a Netbook. The Acer Aspire series seems particulary good value.

Does anyone know all the different model numbers (e.g.: 110) for this computer? And what the difference in features is?

Aside from no moving parts, are flash drives much different to hard drives?

Where's it cheapest to purchase this netbook? I believe Curry's have one of the models for sale at £150.

Thanks

I am also looking at buying one. At the moment the best deal I can find is the 120gb version at John Lewis. Its £225 ish at other stores. The 8gb version is £170 ish everwhere else. The added advantage with John Lewis is the 2 year guarantee. This link is for the blue version but its also available in white. Hope this helps.

Still after the 110 model in white.

Seems as if Currys are out of stock (ands poss won't be getting more as the price ends in .97).

Anyone know the current best deal for purchasing one of these (white, 8 gig flash drive, 110 model) ?

    Thanks

Cdiscount have the white @ £176 and the blue @ £173

I got the 12GB white one from them before Christmas when it was £170 less 15% and got it in a couple of days, there's 4% quidco too which tracked

    Thanks.

Looks as if Cdiscount are out of stock of the White 110 Model.

    Anyone know anywhere else?

Would even consider the 120 gig version, Linux in White!

I'd recommend playing with one of these before spending your hard earned wonga.
I'm selling a white 110 on ebay at the moment. I found the trackpad hard to use as the left and right buttons are either side of the pad rather than above it.
Also, it's only really useful for going on the net, cause Linux isn't user friendly at all.
Main advantage is it boots up really quick.

I probably would buy another netbook, but running windows, and with a bigger screen.
