Out of interest, where is best to look for a hard drive for storage to go with this?

£20 for a refurb 20gb hard drive and 3 months live IIRC from microsoft
  • What bad luck.. I was looking for a new 360 today because it is cheaper to get a new arcade model than to send mine in for repairs (people will buy faulty stuff!)

Took about 30 mins or so but the same thing happened to me - £127 :(

Could always get a 120gb model for £88 from Amazon - then sell the transfer cable (which you are told to throw away.. lol) on ebay for at least £25 (from what i've seen).

Still £60 vs £20 (less live so more like £10) is a bit difference, you are nearly paying the same again

I'm miffed about missing out on this. What's the next best deal on an XBox or even a PS3 at the mo?

  • Do you have the red ring problem (RROD)? If so, warranty is 3 years.

I'm annoyed too. I've been thinking about getting one if I can get one at the right price for a while now (or a PS3)

Well I put my order in before the mad rush on it.....

My order is still in progress, at least it hasn't been cancelled :)
