Empire direct & Edxtra cards

Hi,
I recently purchased a TV from Empire and paid the extra £30 for the Edxtra card to get the 3 year guarentee and the 7 day price match.
I have since found the TV £30 cheaper, though it is with Empire, they have reduced the price.
Empire insist they will not price match themselves, I can kind of see where they are coming from since they promise to beat competitors.
I could take the TV back and buy again, but for the sake of £30 I don't think I can be bothered.
Has anybody managed to get Empire to price match themselves, any ideas? Sales staff totally unhelpful
