Hi,
I'm in need of some insprition.
Our hamster (Ozric) is about 2 years old and only has 1 tooth left. So currently he is on a diet of crumby cheese, weetabix and hommous!
Does anyone have any ideas on what we could let him eat? Anything soft/crumbly but also easy to make.
Thanks in advance etc.

oranges? kiwi? banana? grapes?Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0

Could Ozric manage sunflower seeds out of their shells? I had a toothless gerbil many moons ago, and she was able to cope with these . (Fond memories of sitting shelling sunflower seeds for her).If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

I often use baby food for poorly rats, baby rice etc as well as jars (don't forget hamsters can eat meat) cous cous and porridge spring to mind, these could be made up using lactol(puppy and kitten milk) for extra nutrition.Lead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0
