Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help me, my little girl had two cushions sent to her for christmas, they are fab just what she wanted, however the way they were wrapped & they lenght of time they must of been wrapped for in plastic, they have sweat! & they smell damp.now I can't wash them. (It says damp sponge clean only, do not soak or wet) they are Disney ones but not from this country.Does anyone have any ideas how I can get smelly fresh? She is so upset, but they do really smell.
I would be grateful of any help or ideas.
Many thanks in advance
Ginga

I would hang them out in the fresh air to dry and hopefully remove the smell. I'm sure someone will come along with a better answer soon.Take the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.

Bicarb them in a sealed bag and then allow the bicarb to absorb the smell - shake or hoover afterwards.
Or use tumble drier sheets or febreeze.0 -
Spray them with Febreze. It really works. Smells gone!!!!0

Agreed, however I'm never sure what that stuff does to your lungs :P
I' say Febreze and then a day on the line.
If they aint fresh after that, repeat above after a gentle wash.0 -
Thanks for all the help. I will put out on the line tommorrow & see what happens.
Thanks

Do you have an airing cuoboard( or know someone who has?) to get rid of the smell. Far too cold to go outside. Brrrrrrrrrrr!0
