After looking at this page a couple of days ago in an effort to find some cheaper charms than Pandora, I went to Warren James yesterday and bought one charm, for £8:00; but on trying to find this page again, I got onto another MSE page that warns against Warren James, their products and their after-sales service. Charm I bought is ok, so far! Must admit, hadn't come across them before; the shop was empty when I went in, situated in a very busy shopping mall.

Mind you - I would say much the same about one or two other high street jewellers!

Here is the link to the MSE page titled Warren James - Beware ...

Ooh, I've gotta little star! What's that for then?!!
  • Argos do charms that fit on Pandora/Troll/Chamila bracelets. Also Hot Diamonds do them aswell (not as cheap). My DH got me a Pandora for my birthday last year so now I get charms for Xmas/mothers day/easter etc etc.....slowly building mine up.
Never buys anything at full price unless completely forced to do so!!!

I got one for christmas from http://www.lovingthebead.com/

Some on there are real silver too. Most are in the £2 - £5 region. The look beautiful and unless your specialist in these things you can't really tell the difference between these and and the more expensive ones.

  • Hi,

I have just ordered some charms from here http://www.moonsave.co.uk/ to add to the Pandora I have got for my daughters birthday. It seems to be good service and items were despatched the day after the order was received . Will let you know if I am disappointed when they arrive but not too bothered as they were so reasonable.

My daughter (10) had a look alike with glass beads on from Tesco £8. I know its not quite in the same league but she loves it.

I've got quite a few of ltb's beads on mine and they look good, just make sure which are silver and which are only plated when you order.

I got a pandora bracelet last year with a couple of genuine charms. It looked a bit bare so I ordered some silver plated charms of ebay for about £3 each. Whilst they looked good I probably only wore them for a month before the plating came off everyone of them. My dh buys me pandora charms for birthdays, anniversaries etc.

I have had hsamuels 'truth' charms as gifts before and they look good but i have had 2 coloured ones (strawberries) that have worn also. I complained and got a refund though after it happening twice. They are similar priced to genuine pandora, although they have some complete bracelets and 3 charm sets on half price at the moment.

I have also tried Warren James and liked what I saw, I bought an owl design for £8 which is still good, my only concern is that it is only patterned on one side.

With the glamour offer in december I got a hotdiamonds charm and it is brilliant, I actually prefer it to the pandora ones I have.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

I have a Lovelinks bracelet which is very similar to Pandora and I have bought a number of charms from Warren James and have been very pleased with them. There are also quite a few sellers on ebay who do charms and I have bought from there as well.

This looks quite a good site too
