    wow! jumble finally over....
  • Had to get my fix for the last time today :(;) but alas there were no TD under £8 in GY store so i decided (after a chat with myself :rotfl: ) to try and see if i could get the gym ball free.

So after walking around the store for ages making sure i didn't miss any reduced stuff - which there wasnt any, nor was there any No17 gift boxes left - i made my way over to the tills. Picture the scene..a row of 5 check outs all customer free but staffed with happy smiling sa (ok i lied about the last bit;))..i am getting rather hot at this point as i walk over to an older sa chat happily away to her and then hand over my vouchers at which point she goes "£1.75 please..ooh that cant be right it has taken both these vouchers of" she then studies the both vouchers word for word  while i grow warmer but eventually says "oh well till took them so thats £1.75 please" RESULT :j at which i sped out of boots :rotfl:

So would like to say a big thank you to bedshaped for spotting this and everyone else on here who has helped spot bargains and made January a very exciting month !
    Brendan's new dance partner...please :D
  • I had a great day out in Wakefield today (didn't spot you pash unfortunately)

They had 4 gym balls and 1 ab toner. I got the gym ball first at the photo booth and the Sa said you can only use 1 voucher, I said "oh it worked fine for my sister yesterday" and she said I'll try it for you, cue smug grin as it went through!

I then had another walk round and decided to get the abtoner, it weighs an absolute ton but car wasn't far away. Quite scared when I went to the No7 makeup till but she never even looked at the vouchers and just scanned them and passed me over my receipt!

My daughter who was with me then decided she wanted a gym ball so we went back to get another and used a different till again with no problems at all.

I then had a look at the Td items and they had quite a few eye brighteners so I got 3 and paid the £1.50 excess on them and also loads of lip plumper so I got two of those as well.

Also got loads more of the Ea items for free along with a big bag of maltesers :D
An amazing and very satisfying end to my TD/EA boots life.

  • The Time Delay and Daniel Ryman raids are over ........... shame but hey all good things have to come to an end !!

I was in work today but itching to get my Boots fix, team briefing was dragging on, I had vouchers in my purse and I needed to go ............ I missed the lunch time office bus into town so I ended up driving to Penarth and then to Cardiff Bay. Sadly no gym items in Penarth or voucher items. Next I ventured into Cardiff Bay - they have a sign up saying one leaflet per customer so I knew I was at the all seeing and all checking tills. I found one DR item reduced and 2 EA items reduced to £1.00 each, yipee the chance to use 3 vouchers but alas it was not to be. The SA was on the ball, (probably the gym ball I fancied !) and my vouchers were refused !

I left Boots in a confused state having paid FULL price for 2 items, oh well it had to end but hey thanks to the posters and buddies on this thread your advice has been great.

Now I have to get back on the good sides of my lunch time buddies - they tell me I have an obsession with Boots but I don't believe it :rotfl:
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)

It's the end of more than the EA/DR/TD era... Cheltenham High St Boots has also taken away all sale stock from the shelves this afternoon!

(We never did hit the low prices in other areas)

I agree with the above, a big big THANK YOU to everyone for spotting bargains all the time, I have had great fun finding them for myself and then for others, I have made a new friend locally in mummysaver and we will both soon be meeting up with kit.
I have posted things every where and have had great fun telling all my friends how to find the bargains.
Thank you everyone for making it a great start to 2006

Picked up a couple of the larger Charlie perfume sets for £3.33, and a gola bag for £2.50. Didn't get any more EA / TD / DR stuff as there wasn't anything interesting. All the posters, and displays had also been taken down.

Went in for some saline solution.....and came out with the above, but no saline. Looks like I'm going shopping tomorrow now too.

Edit: I had to expand my present cupboard last weekend by buying a couple more boxes to store things in....and its only just the end of January.
