left job with 4 weeks notice HELP

Evening
I wrote a letter to my employment stating i was leaving from 4 weeks from the date of the letter. I was on my time off so i wouldnt of been returning back to work as i work offshore and it was 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off which you were salary paid so get a wage every month.
My question is as i left should i be given a wage end of this month as i handed in my notice start of the month with 4 weeks in advance like contract stats?
Reason am asking is we get pay slips online and i have checked and i dont have a payslip for this month as you get them a day before payment is due which is 2mo?

sounds like you need to give them a ring and clarify what payment is due if any0

May be a delay because of Christmas processing and the fact that this is your last payment.0

Hi there,
I would check your contract and/or employee handbook. If you were meant to be paid, there is a possibility of unlawful deduction of wages. Perhaps this may help: http://www.adviceguide.org.uk/e_employer_witholds_your_pay.pdf
One other point - the law says you are entitled to pay slips, no matter what.

The end of the month is tomorrow - so they may delay final payment till then. And you would be likely to receive a different amount from normal - because of holiday pay - either additonal money for holiday accrued and not taken or a deduction for holidays taken but not yet "earned". (Unless your off-shore contract makes a difference.)
Did they get the 4 weeks' notice? If you wrote saying the four weeks ran from the date of your letter and they didn't receive the letter until later then you didn't give them that amount of notice to end this Friday (unless you are actually counting more days to allow for that).0 -
I have got a payslip online now but its completely blank just my full earnings for the year.
They did get my letter as they sent me a letter back saying they accepted it. and saying any money due will be paid end of this month.
My crew went back offshore on the 29th this month which i was due to go back on but as i handed in my notice i wasnt returning as was on time off.
Can they turn round and say there not paying me?0 -
I hope that you get the pay that you're due - maybe you'd be better phoning them up to find out what's what, at least that way you'll know what the position is?0

well will wait till 2mo as thats the pay date and will see if they do make a payment if not i will be putting a letter in writing to them to keep it all above board.
From what i have told you lot do you think am right thinking i should be due another wage as i gave them 4 weeks notice which takes me upto today as leaving the company?0 -
no payment was made into my account and i have emailed the HR boss asking why i never got my last wage0

UPDATE
got my P45 thru the post this morning and even thats dated wrong. says my leaving date is 30/11/08 so lets hope they got it wrong as my leaving date is 30/12/080
