Thanks Donna, that wasnt OH's full income, it was his half towards bills, as I assumed it was done on a 50/50 split, can it be done differently? Could I say I pay more than him? Is that allowed?
Thanks for other comments, good to know, as I have no clue.....0 -
Hi Blue, going to bump this up so any others can see it and maybe make some suggestions too. If it is not your OH's full income, that is fine. I did mine on a 60/40 split I believe but I earn only about a third what my OH does, so he does pay most of the bills. As long as you havent put down his full income that is fine.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

Thanks Donna, tbh he tends to only pay the mortgage, all the bills do come out of my account, I have statements that clearly show this, so maybe I can reduce my SoA a bit. He buys some food etc to make up the difference, but the OR doesnt have to know that???? Or is that too naughty?0

The only thing sticking out at me is your housekeeping looks too high for 2 people.

I looked at Zoopla yesterday and edited my property. I wanted to raise the value of my home so I added in all the extras we've done. I suppose if you wanted to you could edit it down so to speak.

I thought that too about the housekeeping, but in my earlier SoA that was how much DeeDee said to put??
I didnt realise you could edit Zoopla, may have a look at that;)

Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far, but I now have yet another question......
Whilst reading through some of these threads I am sure I read somewhere that it is possible for someone else, ie a parent to buy my car from the OR? Is this right or have I just made it up, in the dream world I am occupying a lot of the time?0 -
No you haven't made it up. If the OR says you can't keep it, you can do a deal with them for someone else to buy it from the OR, usually as a lower price than it's worth because it saves the OR any charges to have it towed away and auction fees.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

Thanks Peachy, its good to know I'm not going crazy, I have read so many threads and had so many thoughts going round in my head.....
I doubt OR will let me keep it and I think my Mum may buy it if it was reasonable price, she would then give it to me, is this allowed? So sorry for all the questions, you have been such a great help :A0 -
If the OR doesn't let you keep the car then you can ask if someone can buy it. They will then be the owner of the vehicle and you can be the registered keeper. But you won't be able to put the expenses of the upkeep of the vehicle on your SOA. Though how the OR will look upon you then puting travel expenses down for the bus etc. on your SOA I don't know.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
