HMM, These were In stock in E London / Essex but when BIL went to collect the sales guy told him that the Musicpals where being sold off as so many had been returned. He said that to operate the internet radio you would have to disable your firewall. Can anyone clarify, please.
It may be necessary to temporarily disable your firewall during setup, but not permanently.0 -

Word of warning:
I have an Imp Magic Box (similar features, internet radio, UPNP streaming etc) and to view all the music on my pc takes a few hours because I have 12k albums or so. Still great for listening to foreign radio stations....shame about the adverts (Normally listen to K-FOG from the San Francisco area)
Streaming probably work better on a small music library0 -

If you're not already aware, the Vistron uses the RECIVA gateway for its Station database. The VISTRON manual should direct you to the RECIVA website where you can register your radio to get the best out of it. Also, Reciva are currently testing BETA firmware, and after you have registered your radio you can sign up as a BETA tester allowing you to access the latest upgraded firmware. However you should spend some time on the RECIVA forums before doing that just so you know what's involved.
There's some very complimentary posts about the VISTRON, and the EBUYER price is very good.0 -
Picked my Freecom Musicpal up from Chesterfield at lunchtime and they still had 10 unreserved in stock (as well as 16 reserved).

Screen also showed 2 in stock at Nottingham and 1 at Leicester (or it could have been the other way round) and stock still at Lincoln, Boston and Grimsby if that is any help to anyone.0 -
