What a useful thread, I was looking at the same thing as op yesterday for my youngest (older 2 have cabin beds so everything goes in their spare wardrobe)
I never throught of Wilkinsons, so will have a look, I want some that open up in the stacker, so that my 2 yr old does not have to keep moving boxes (its only for lego and assorted girly dolly bits)
thanks op0 -
I was watching an old Anthea Turner programme (perfect housewife thing) last week.
she had some great basket/bag type things for seperating the laundry into.
Anyone have any ideas ?
The rigid plastic ones end up cracking and breaking and the pop-up type ones cannot be used to carry anything around without coming apart and the wires coming out.
Obviously as cheap as possible please.
Thanks in advance
I use the big blue Ikea bags that you buy at the checkout for 25p(?). Good and sturdy, waterproof, shoulder and hand straps, hold a good load full and easy to store. (You just roll them up.)
Oh, and Tesco Living have pink and turquise trugs on for £1.99 at the moment. Good sized ones.Val.0 -

If, like me, you don't live near an Ikea store, try ebay.
Often a lot cheaper then Ikea, and for me a lot nearer to collect. The fact that it is used isn't really a problem, as 'brand new' things soon end up looking the worse for wear in my house - I have 3 boys:rolleyes:0 -

AARRRRGGGHHHH! Saw someone in Tescos today with a turquoise one in her trolley & it reminded me of this thread. Had I known they were so blooming cheap I would've taken my life in my hands & dragged the OH all around the shop til I found them!!!0 -

I had two sets of the first storage unit the OP shows
http://http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8753407/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+and+furniture%7C10197552/c_2/2%7Ccat_10197552%7CStorage%7C10197771/c_3/3%7Ccat_10197771%7CStorage+units+with+drawers%7C10197794.htm
They were not very substantial and the drawers didnt slide in and out easily.I ended up throwing one away and just using the drawers as storage boxes.
The other thing is because they are sort of seethrough they still looked a bit untidy. Home and Bargains had some nice seagrass ones that I remember thinking weren't very dear and looked very smart.0
