E:31/01/09 Three £9 tariff 100mins/txts + SE K660i

This is the UK's cheapest monthly tariff for moderate usage of 100mins a month and it's a good bargain available only until 31 Jan - hence posting on Grabbit rather than just mobile phones board.
Don't forget QuidCo for £16
If you've a friend on three, get them to refer you - and they get £30, you £15
Don't forget free instant messenger, Skype, free voicemail, and 300 free 3-3 calls on 3 on top of the 100mins.
Not sure but if you buy two phones I think you get an extra 2000 3-3mins.
NOTE: I know they have bad service, and dodgy reception in some places, but the deal is still good if that doesn't bother you and you've checked that there is good coverage for where you want to use it.

Hey just wanted to add, that 02 are doing a deal on their simplicity package, without phone. Its £10 a month and you get 150 free min's and 300 txt's this too is only on until 31/12.
I do not know if the price goes up after then, hope not as I have orderd my sim card.
Sorry for gate crashing, I know the 3 network is not every ones cuppa. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
Yup - hence my final note; you really have to be sure as they don't even let you send a phone back if it's been used at all... good deal on O2 - similar to the VirginMedia customer deal which gives 300mins/300txts for £10 on a SIM only though I don't think that's on at the moment - sure it will be again soon though...
...momentarily this morning, as I was posting, they had that £9 deal with the Skyphones too but they changed it so they are now £12/month - the K660i is a good phone from what I can tell though. The thanks button is here to the right. Not a bad deal, I just wouldnt want to go on the 3 network.
They can cost up to 30p a minute to call from landlines! :eek:Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!

Sorry but I think you are wrong on the 30p point unless you're being seriously conned by some provider or are somehow on an ancient tarriff...

Cant remember exactly how much it was but it was something like 25p a min during the day when I was with Tiscali, the other networks were all about half the price as far as I remember.
Doesnt bother me now as the friend I had with the 3 mobile got rid of it (and I've changed from Tiscali to the post office that gives free calls to mobiles)
Edit: My mistake, 21.05p a min... http://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/talk/call-plans-information.htmlMissing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!

Things have changed a lot in the landline calling space - competition and the regulator have pushed the cost of calling mobiles downThe thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!
