Trust Deed - completion

Gilland, my trust deed will have been discharged 4 years in April next year, and I'm still unable to change my bank account from anything other than the basic one. I've got an ISA and a savings account, but I never had a mortgage so don't know anything about that. I would guess it might be worth speaking to your bank and seeing if they can help you.
Well done on keeping up with the payments, it can't have been easy for you, so congrats on that.

Don't forget the Trust Deed shows up on your credit record for another 3 years, and any defaults also take 6 years to clear from default date (which should be no later than the protection date of the TD afaik).
Suggest you both ^ check your credit record to see what's recorded. Some creditors get the default date wrong and can sit on your credit record way past when they're meant to be gone!A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.0
