Help! tesco vouchers and MFI

Options
My husband was in MFI the other day and I asked him to ask if they were still taking the tesco vouchers.. they said they are going to stop 'swiping' them from the 1st Feb? Has anyone else heard this??

Also does anyone know how long it takes to get the vouchers converted to a MFI deal as their sale ends the 25th Jan!

Thanks

  • I spoke to someone in Customer services at Tescos and they said that they would have to give at least a couple of months notice and that they will accept them at least until March.

    Well I hope so because my vouchers will be coming in February and I want to use them at MFI as well.

    I'm getting a bit worried now ....

    My mate who works at MFI says the official company wide cut-off date is April.

    They haven't stated which day though, so may be the end of April.
  • I'm a bit green on how Tesco points work with MFI. At the moment can you get your clubcard swiped at MFI to pay for goods without converting them to deals? Can you do this before they are sent to you in the post?? If so WOW I feel I've missed out.
  • MFI head office told us a few weeks ago that our vouchers could be used up until their expiry date, we have used them now but the expiry date on them is April

    I sense that you will not be able to convert Februarys mailing of vouchers for MFI

  • This thread is similar to another MFI discussionthread which was on here: I copied it below and the link is:

    I just got a response to an email I sent to Tesco Clubcard Deals about this, and its good news;

    Thank you for your e-mail.
    We have not heard from MFI that they are withdrawing from our deals. Our recent deals brochure goes up to February next year and they will have to give us at least six months notice if they are going to withdraw.

    If there is anything else we can help you with please do not hesitate to contact us.

    I am hoping to use mine in MFI in February and the mailing after that.
