a bit of a mistake on the argos site with maglite torch, they are £9.78 each, but the offer says 2 for £9.79, so you are getting one for 1p! it doesnt work online, but i went instore and they checked on their pc connected to the net, and let me have it. Bargain, grab one quick until they realise!

Best price I can see this for is in Boots at £4.89 each but you have to pay delivery if you can't find this in your local boot's. They are a good deal in Argos if they honour it, I bought a few of these as pressies last year they are a cute handy wee size ( can torch's be cute) good spot op.Booo!!!0

They look nice but dont run for long on one AAA or give much light.
If you are willing to wait 10 days or so for a delivery from dealextreme (HK) you can get brighter/longer running LED lights. If you want a bright baby light for handbag or pocket its also worth looking at those that run off rechargeable CR123 or 18650 batteries (but will probably cost you £20 all in with bat and charger rather than the OP's fiver).0 -

These only cost £3 +VAT, so Argos are still making money. Not very bright, so go for an LED instead.Founder member MSE Jet Airways Mile High Club

I agree these wee maglites are not the brightest but you can get them cheaper if you wait. Every year I buy a few in the Boots sale when everything goes to 75% off and get them for about 2 quid. Last year they were still marked at full-price but they were reduced just like the year before!! They are handy to keep in your handbag or in a pocket. So I am waiting til they go cheaper at Boots, they normally have loads still left even when it goes to 75% off.0
