It was a winning text from one of the magazines saying I'd won this woolworths comp so should I contact the mag it was in? I won on 11th Dec, also waiting for one 'prize' from October & a few other bits from Dec.

Got a reply re my prize saying it will be with me shortly... they've been saying that for 2 months!!!!

V. early postie this morning with a parcel for me. (Had seen the winners list but they had my name wrong xxxford not xxxton so was plucking up the courage to email them if I didn't hear...when it turned up this morning....):j

its shiny silver....

it has 14 points of articulation.....:eek: :eek:

and it's put a big smile on my face......:D

Lucky for me I've just found the comp in the mag with a promoter number in so going to give them a ring & see what's happening.

That was a quick, but productive, call lady has my details & prize is on it's way so she's going to find out where it is at the moment & get back in touch.

I won a 'prize' with the HSM comp in The Sun back in October but you had to send a cheque to cover postage (£1.89 so I was happy with that) said it would be posted within 28 days of ending date (end of Oct) but I've not heard anything. The cheque was only cashed some point over the last week, will check date later, how long should I leave this before chasing it up? 28 days from the cheque being cashed or chase it up now?
