i got some silver earrings in debenhams and a nightie, nothing much else interesting, i used the gift card i won of advents.

We've done the Morrison's savers card for 2 years now and what a difference it made they also did a spend £20 each week for 4 weeks and when you spent £20 in the 5th week they gave you £20 of shopping free. Hope they do the same again next Christmas.

The £2 one we did all last year, they're pretty scarce coz everyone saves them lol, and it paid for spending money on hols for kids So we're doing both again this year plus Billy is giving me money to slip away for him and not tell him how much is there.

Shopping wise we stick to a £20 per day budget which has to cover everything and any leftover by the end of the week goes to the following weeks shopping and so forth. Any surplus at the end goes into the savings account which we both put £50 a month into. It doesn't cover everything but Billy's so tight you couldn't get a credit card between the cheeks of his @rse, so somehow he makes sure we manage

I'm bored, I should really go outside and put the gas in cos I think its run out and I'm freezing, kids are dring me nutty:rolleyes: think I'll bang little woks and dd on the freebies board:rolleyes: big woks came in last night then informed us he was off to London to watch Chris Brown with his mates :eek:this was one in the morning, then went into the wash room and flung the clothes everywhere and muddled clean and dirty washing up, then off he went and said he will be back monday. He's meant to be at college on Monday and I asked him if he fetched his plumbing trousers back from his mates and he said he did and I cant find them and I refuse to buy another pair:mad:

well done tmk and all the other savers, I tend to save my survey vouchers but this year didnt do so good with them as had been spending in the year:rolleyes:

Afternoon everyone. Hope all those with injuries, aches and pains, and viruses, feel, mucho better soon.
I am now about, as decs all away for next year, two three piece suites in front room at moment, though as ds, gave us a leather one, and I,ve only just put the other one on freecycle (no one can see me on my pc at mo, cos I,ve surrrounded myself:rotfl: )

We have a copper, 5p & £2 jars to save and it usually gets spent at Christmas on treats.

A big saving this year will be that we are not going to Florida like we have for the past 4 years.

Bought a touring caravan last year so we are going to use that for some cheap holidays.

Youngest two have happily played for the last two days with a car that big sis and dh made them out of cardboard boxes. Might as well not spent anythng on Christmas presents as they have had more fun with this lol.

Please - Becky never shuts up so they can chatter to each other. The only time that child is quiet is when she is asleep.
