embb most of the Adams stores up here closed the last time they were in trouble I think, the Metro Hell one is gone, Durham one is gone. I think Bridges, Shields and Washington might still be there. Looking at the online sale there probably isn't much to be had, my 7 year olds too big for their stuff, 9 year old probably close to it
soappie well done with the futon :D
    nicki well done
Mudbath, she was fine, I suppose people heal different ways, she's a workaholic anyway
Summermoon try ebay, there is loads of offers inc ones from abroad which work fine here

Well this morning as I told him, DP got up to deal with children, I stayed in bed :D Came downstairs after I got bored. He's now helping build lego stuff and I'm doing nothing :D (He also fed them lunch!) I'm still a bit suprised but I did say today he would need to make up for being out of the last 3 days. We're still trying to get in touch with his family to see if we're visiting tomorrow.

I've put the heating on so I can have a nice shower, think I will empty DW first (especially as DP and DSs have put their lunch things in the kitchen.....shock!) Hopefully before I shower the washer load will be done I started aswell, then get bins in, cram what was left over in them, then do Pigpen's list :D seems like a plan.
One day I might be more organised...........

Argh someone get me off the computer! Keep googling stuff and now I'm worried that the bleeding is something more serious  Oh for goodness sake, why do I worry myself? Maybe I'll clear the kitchen table, feed the children, put DD2 to nap, put the other children to work doing something crafty and then play a game to stop me thinking about it. Least I should be able to get an appointment today. Hopefully they'll say it's nothing to worry about but at least then I'll be told!

It may SEEM like it's all done then and there but I do assure you all that I spend quite a bit of time thinking about this sort of thing and researching. So, when I say 'right I'm doing it' it's because I've usually spent at least a couple of weeks quietly weighing up the pros/cons/options etc. first so that when I go, I know what I want and what price I'll pay for it.
Soappie - when's your birthday...all that weighing up sounds VERY Libran!

Can I ask everyone a question - what do you do when the soft toys get WAY too much? The girls have a small toy box each in the lounge, and they were overflowing, so I've just decluttered them and realised that they have just masses of soft toys, and aren't overly fussed on them TBH. What's the best thing to do with them, if I keep them? Maybe I should give away the unnecessary stuff to the local church/childrens charity. Hmm.... I need to stop hoarding!

I send them to charity shop in droves.. hateful useless things!

Funnily enough JJ - I was thinking about that only yesterday. I think I will restart it on Jan 1st. I haven't done the bogof savings for weeks. Time I got back into it. Time I started doing proper budgets and things as well I think. This recession looming worries me. Particularly the news this morning when they said it was predicted that 650,000 professional people could be made redundant this coming year.

And then, I open the post this morning to find that MBNA have just upped my credit card limit to £20,200 . The balance is currently zero and I suppose they're trying to tempt me into using it. But it really strikes me as irresponsible in this climate.

But, DiL has just finished in the front room. I now need to dismantle and eject one old futon and mantle (? :p) and welcome the new one!

I make my DD go through them herself - for every 5 she wants to keep she has to get rid of 1 to the charity shop ;) Big ones (as in the size of a toddler or bigger ;) ) count as either 2 or 3 "normal" ones. I've managed to keep a lid on them the majority of the time and we regularly rotate the ones she keeps on the end of her bed (actually we change them every week).

I'm currently sorting through the basket of stuff I cleared of the diningtable on Xmas Eve and then hid under the stairs :o Getting there slowly. Then I'm going to make a dent in the Xmas stuff thats laying around the place - like blank Xmas cards, un-used wrapping paper etc. Will probably take me most of the afternoon. :o
