I'm up and breakfasted... and trying to work out a way to get the rest of the list done before my parents get here!

... and I need to go shopping ... I seem to be short of vegetables (plus I want to buy a cheap duvet for their dog to sleep on, so they don't have to bring her stinky basket into the house, and they can take it with them to the next couple of places they're visiting on the way to my grandad's funeral...)

... Soooo... I think ... that if I clear the junk out of the utility room that needs to go to the tip/recycling/garage into either the car or the garage, then some of the stuff from the study can go into the utility room... and at least I'll have somewhere to work (and do my outstanding paperwork :o )tomorrow, as my parents will be here, so the kitchen table won't be an option!

soappie - if your weather is anything like it is here, you've got no chance of making it above freezing today :rotfl:

Oh yes... and I have to make about a million cakes today/tomorrow as it's my birthday next week, so I have to feed everyone in the office (mind you, it keeps the accountants happy for a couple of months, and quite frankly, once you've started making cakes you might as well keep going until the freezer is full or the ingredients run out!)

    Return X Files DVD

What did you think of the film? I enjoyed it, but I don't think it was as good as the series or the last film. I couldn't work out whether Mulder and Scully were actually 'together' or not either

pigpen you can get DS games from Lakeland ? Is this a different lakeland one to the kitcheny one ??? I am confused
And chocolate worms - not so different to a 5yo boy then LOL

But boys never grow up. There's a quote which goes something like "the only difference between a boy and a man is the size (and cost) of his toys!"

  • Morning All and welcome to lozzieozzie and all others new to the thread.

    Happy BD to Lil_me’s DS.

Last day before returning to work so must get this list thing cracked. Must make a list of all the things I need to do to get ready for the week, prioritise them and get then done.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

I have had an hour dozing on the sofa, and now I feel much better!!!!

DP has taken Mad Max for a walk, and kids have been chased upstairs for a bit. SO I am having a bit quiet time, then going to make a start once nephew gets picked up.
