Found the correct spelling for you, skintscotslass: boorach, meaning a muddle, mess, confusion or fuss. Sounds like my house on a regular basis!

Thank you FireAngel - oh and midden means a dungheap. I always thought it was a muddle too

jjef thanks for asking, I'm on the sofa again now, only allowed one more set of meds today so saving them to help me sleep, think that's me for the night, boys are in bed (but not asleep) and living room is tidy enough for visitors tomorrow so anything else, can wait. I do have my sudoku book next to me so I can use that this time :D so all is ok
nicki, that's a good point, I 'put away' my appointments diary for over school hols so I didn't look at it, now I can't remember where I put it

I've basically given up for this evening, as I said to jjef, I might do the DW just before bed, that'll be all I think.
One day I might be more organised...........

Just wondering whether anyone else has had CSA payments delayed over the hols? Ex gets paid on the 20th and I usually get it around the 27th, just wondering whether anyone had any idea of when I should expect it? By my calculations allowing for the bank holidays I should have got it on the 29/30th

Actually I've been thanked in more posts then I have, don't stray from this thread very often, and usually only to equally friendly threads, but I've been involved in discussions that have been removed, but I was thanked in...weird huh?

Mind you, it says a but-and-ben is a holiday cottage, and I can guarantee that my mother did not grow up in a holiday cottage that housed 2 families!

ETA - she did grow up in a but-and-ben, in Dundee, with her family and another relatives family.

I'll pm you, Summermoon. I had an idea.
