  • Was about to purchase the Prada set from Harrods, when a quick look in my local Debenhams (Crawley), were selling it for £36.00. Ever so slightly more expensive I know (with the postage added) but, a good price all the same. Thanks to the OP, as now very tempted by the Marc Jacobs set!!
  • My three items have arrived today:j ...superb service....brilliant items ...great prices (versace mens and womens gift sets)

    Only ordered late on sunday...

Christmas 2009 bring it on !!!!:rotfl:

Mine have arrived too. Couldn't see any use by information on them. They do have a sales sticker on the side of the boxes but can easily be peeled off now, so that they don't mark.

I ordered the Dior miniatures and am a little disappointed with it. The picture and in the information says it is in a leather box and shows a gold coloured bow on the front. That is what sold the item to me for MIL but it just comes in a cardboard box with a picture of the fragrances on it.

The description also says "presented in whte gift box" Have you opened it, maybe the leather box is inside....otherwise contact them and see what they say...

My items are exactly as described..
  • My Prada sets have also arrived today, very pleased. Only ordered late Sunday night/Monday morning, wasnt expecting them to be delivered so quick.

I was tempted to get the mini Dior set. Dont worry, I'm sure the MIL will love it tho, I like the miniatures as they come in handy for on the go in handbag.
  • My order arrived today too, great service! Really pleased, in fact thinking of placing a second order!

Everything exactly as described and in pristine condition. No mention of use by dates on mine either.

I agree about the Dior minis, if they are not exactly as described get in touch with Harrods, but as shankley4ever said maybe the other gift box is inside the plastic box. If not, it wouldn't be fair for you to be in any way disappointed because of them not supplying you what the listing detailed and they should replace.

Or you could get this from Debenhams:
    http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10001_59032_753601_-1

Or this one with free delivery from John Lewis. They seem better than the Harrods one:

I have opened it and it is a completely different box to the one shown in the picture. I have contacted them and am awaiting to see what they say. This is the box that I was sent but I presumed with Harrods being who they are and the picture that was shown, they would be a bit "posher" and have their own luxury packaging.

Other items are fabulous. The Dior is great, don't get me wrong but I was just a little disappointed that the box wasn't the same as the one shown in the photograph. I would probably have gone for something else.

For me the problem was finding things in stock. For instance I could find the perfume on Boots but was showing out of stock etc. But I would buy it from anywhere with stock in that price range, so great other options for purchase too thanks.

Just checked Debenhams link and that doesn't seem to be in stock? But JL is I think for anyone wanting another option.

Yep, Debenhams are out of stock now but there are 6 left at John Lewis - were 7 but grabbed one for the wife :)

After delivery charges from Harrods, I feel that this is a better offer as works out cheaper with the addition of shower gel instead of a bar of soap.
