Clearance Bargains - Argos?

Forgive me if I am a little late to the party but have just realised that Clearance Bargains is Argos. Is there warehouse worth a visit as have a friend setting up home.

Have been looking on their ebay site and seem good buys. Has anyone bought from them and what is there service like. Ebay feedback is very recent so was looking for info re longer term customer service. Didn't post on ebay section as though that was more about dealings with ebay. Will no doubt be corrected if I am misguided on that one.

  • Goto: http://www.clearancebargains.co.uk/ for details of the store addresses.

There are only 3 in the country but if you can get to one it could well save you a small packet.
They sell pretty much everything at greatly reduced prices, but I guess each store will have different stocks and the stock does change regularly.

I bought a camcorder from them and it was brand new all sealed and everything, worked perfectly so no complaints here. I would say check prices before you buy, I watched several auctions for the camcorder I bought before buying at a good price.
  • Does anyone have any examples of prices there? Would need to work out if it is worth hiring a van.
  • i found the prices and items to be the same as what was on the clearance section on the actual argos website. items which i had tried to reserve but were out of stock in local argos stores - well know i know where it all is!

we have just bought house and i managed to get light uplifter, bosh drill, bathroom mirror with shelves, lamps kitchen accessories, tables etcc... got good garden furniture as well so am gna go back with van

i bought my wii from them (on ebay) in August, for about £140 inc p&p, found them to offer a great service. Wii box was all intact and still had the proper seals on it

I have bought 4 items (all the same) from them recently after reading that they discount for bulk purchases on their ebay site. However I have been charged the full delivery price of £3.99 x4. I have tried emailing them twice with no reply. What should I do now? Surely if they state on their site that additional purchases in same order will be discounted they should follow through?
2p or not 2p? That is the question!
