whats the betting makays and mothercare are the next to go under, with online sales of baby gear just as competitive if not cheaper than the shops, along with the big 4 taking a big share of the market. Our local asda has a huge baby section, from cots 2 buggys everything you need.

I heard this on the news earlier too.
It is a shame but to be honest I am too old to have ckithes form there now so it won't really affect me directly.

I am not suprised there prices have got shocking and this is probally why.

The shop in Bradford town center is poorly organsided with clothes all over the floor. The staff in the shop dnt have a clue either, so not suprised.

Will have a look though if they reduce stock as I am in need of new clothes for my DD.

  • Absolutely no suprise sadly.

They almost went under a few years ago, and they didn't improve.

    Another retailer gone...

the guy who owns them now has had them 2 years,so i reckon he saved them last time, sad to see any buisness struggle, what with staff losing there jobs, but a lot of buisness have been rippnig customers off for to lnog with high prices and getting away with it

I agree. The clothes are lovely, great for little girls, but the prices are mad.
Even in the sales they are more expensive than other stores. Sad for the workers but i won't be sorry to see them go.
I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)
