Taxico,
There's been a couple of threads over the last few days about bankruptcy... have a look through them. Basically you have to declare any assets that you have - car, jewllery etc. Anything that is worth more than £1500 and the OR may be interested. My hubby and i went bankrupt last December - best thing we ever did! Good luck.BCSC # 9 and proud! :beer:0 -
Apart from my car, i have nothing of any real value. My wife has taken the car payments over and the log book is now in her name as she knew how badly i am struggling. Do i just declare what assets i think i have of value ie car, and nothing much else? Do they come and check out our home for assets, as it is only me going br and my wife obviously has possesions. what about her computer and our telly(well old). sorry to keep asking, really worrried just want to get it over with, and another q, do they always inform the landlord i do not owe any rent or home bills at all just cc bills and loans.Everyone likes to be innovative, but no-one wants to be the first to try it !!0

You will still have to tell the OR about the car - you have to declare any assetts that you've got rid of in the last 12 months or so. We had to give bank statements for the last 12 months as well. Have you got the forms to fill in yet?BCSC # 9 and proud! :beer:0
